Refund & Cancellation Policy

This Refund & Cancellation Policy outlines the terms under which Digihike marketing private limited (“Company”, “we”, “our”, “us”) provides refunds and handles cancellations for services offered through https://thedigitalhike.com/.


1. Nature of Services

We provide digital services including marketing, advertising, consulting, and development. Due to the nature of these services (time, effort, and resources involved), all payments are generally non-refundable unless otherwise stated.


2. No Refund Policy

  • Once a project or service has been initiated, no refunds will be issued for:

    • Time and resources already utilized

    • Campaigns that have been launched

    • Strategy, consultation, or planning services

  • Advance payments are non-refundable


3. Eligible Refund Scenarios

Refunds may be considered only under the following conditions:

  • Duplicate payment made by mistake

  • Service not started within agreed timeline due to our fault

  • Written agreement explicitly includes a refund clause

All approved refunds will be processed within 7–15 business days


4. Cancellation by Client

  • Clients may cancel services by providing written notice (email/official communication)

  • Cancellation will be effective after:

    • Completion of current billing cycle OR

    • As per contract terms (typically 15–30 days notice)

  • No refunds will be provided for ongoing or completed work


5. Cancellation by Company

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate services if:

  • Payments are delayed or not received

  • Client violates terms or engages in unlawful activity

  • Lack of cooperation or communication impacts project delivery

In such cases, no refunds will be issued.


6. Subscription / Retainer Services

  • Monthly retainers must be canceled before the next billing cycle

  • Once billed, the amount is non-refundable

  • Services will continue until the end of the billing period


7. Ad Spend & Third-Party Costs

  • Advertising budgets (Google Ads, Meta Ads, etc.) are paid directly to platforms or managed on behalf of the client

  • Ad spend is non-refundable under any circumstances

  • We are not responsible for third-party platform charges


8. Project-Based Work

  • Milestone-based payments are non-refundable once the milestone is started or completed

  • Delays caused by the client do not qualify for refunds


9. Chargebacks & Disputes

  • Clients agree not to initiate chargebacks without first contacting us

  • Any disputes will be handled through mutual discussion and resolution
